Laurel Cummins
Traditional Tattoo Artist in London
Laurel’s journey began after finding out University was not for her, starting as a tattoo shop assistant at a local street shop for a couple of years then progressing into an apprenticeship by 2012.
Laurel’s work is heavily influenced by her travels through Canada, USA and Europe when she was young.
Since initially starting to tattoo full time in 2015 her style has evolved into a refined unique take on traditional tattooing, with references pulled from 50’s western cowboy advertising, David Mann’s biker art and classic tattooing. Laurel is also inspired by traditional Japanese art which can be seen in the colour theory of her work.
Alongside tattooing, Laurel enjoys adventuring with her dog Louie, riding her (125cc) hog and wild camping while also being generally creative with photography and dabbling in sign writing.
