Anna-Claire started tattooing in 2016 in her home country of South Africa before moving to London in 2019. Anna joined our team here at Cloak and Dagger at the beginning of 2022.
Since starting tattooing, Anna has always had a very recognisable style which is largely influenced by her home town of Durban. Motifs such as tropical founa, palm trees, tigers, monkeys and ladies with animal print bodies just to name a few.
Anna has found herself very influenced by Indian miniature paintings, Tibetan motifs and a wider array of Asian art. Which she then tattoos in the style of American traditional.
Outside of tattooing, Anna spends a lot of time travelling the world, drawing inspiration from wherever she goes. This in turn has an influence on her other major passion, painting.
